Hello everybody. Id like to announce this as my first post on Free Republic. I browse your site and the DUmmies site everyday, and enjoy yours for news and theirs for laughs (can you believe they thought the election was stolen.) Well I have read a bit how Glen Beck and others were not impressed with the 24 show, but I love it. This is my first season and I am addicted. I wonder if I look too deep into this television show. While I understand there might be some underlying plot against corporations, torture, or some other liberals ideals, I tried to Republicanize the show as much as possible. To do that I protray all the characters as real people. I have related everything to the Bush administrations war on terror. Here is my casting for the show and the reasons:
Jack Bauer- President Bush because for the past 3 years he has prevented America from having another terrorists attack and will do anything to stop it. We all root for him, and know that as long as he is in charge the terrorists have no chance!
Tony Almedia- Tony Blair because this man would fight to the death with Bush, and Tony already came to Jack's rescue in the show. They have a backwards Churchill/Roosevelt relationship.
Secretary James Heller- Rummy. We all know that if he was held hostage he would pick up a gun and start killing terrorists. The man is tough as nails.
Erin Driscoll- Hillary 'Evil' Clinton. Tries to play tough, but arrests Jack. Also she cracked under the pressure (didnt Hillary faint a few weeks ago.) Some CTU leader she turned out to be.
Curtis- Colin Powell because hes black, a good guy, and can kick ass. And hes not a trashy black guy, he is classy like Powell.
Audry Raines- Laura Bush for obvious reasons.
Paul Raines- Jacques Chirac because I hated his guts more than anything. He tried to be a good guy, but I also felt like he was helping the bad guys...sounds French to me.
Navi Araz- Saddam Hussein because is a cold blodded killer, has a nutty son, and he was present before Marwan came into the picture so I figured he was the terrorist leader.
Dina Araz- Teresa Heinz Kerry because that arab chick is annoying and manipulative and I just want someone to slap her...just like Kerry's wife.
Habib Marwan- Osama Bin Laden. Sure his force has been depleted by the work of Bush (the nuclear reactors were melted down and tons of his men have been killed) but Bush still cant catch him...just like the show.
McClain-Forrester- ACLU because no organization has stood in our way of fighting terror than the Anti Christ Liberals Union.
The Pilot Called by Mawrwan- John Kerry because while he tries to play war hero, his mere dissent has caused a rift in our nation; and under his pathetic watch I have no doubt another 9/11 attack would happen. He tried to sabotage our Commander in Chief during wartime, him as president would be worse than shooting down Air Force One.
Two Arabs at the Sporting Goods Store- Allawi and Musharrf because both have helped immensly in the war on terror. Patriots to say the least.
Did I miss anyone, or did I just completly confuse you all.
