cair is using the term "neo-con" as a substitute for their anti-semiticism.

I have been told by posters on this site that it's a code word for"conservative Jew".

the neo-conservative movement was started by norman podheretz et al, the editor of commentary and author of "why we were in vietnam".

the movement is primarily distinguished from conservativism by a pro-active military policy. for example, president bush intervened in afghanistan and iraq. the former might be seen as retaliation to get al queda for 9.11, but certainly not the latter.

the american left and european left are opposed to a pro-active american military intervention.

consequently, i see in american universities and in european literature, "neo-con" used as a code word for anti-semiticism. obviously the moslems use it for this reason.

“Neocon” is a word that, since 9/11, has ceased to have any meaning other than a very broad shorthand for pro-Bush Jew (as David Brooks put it, “-con” is short for conservative and “neo-” is short for Jewish)
