Guess you've never heard of PARENTS.
Violent video games and movies already have age-restrictions. The last thing we need is more laws by do-nothing politicians such as Hillary, who's only doing this to make a run for the Presidency.
r u a libertine or a republican? not that it matters, but i didn't attack YOU personally. I AM a parent. and unfortunately I know some parents who do let their children play video games with mature ratings, for example. IN MY OPINION this is irresponsible of them, and I have seen these children acting in ways which were inappropriate towards other children. Honestly I believe that playing video games, especially those with mature themes, is unhealthy for the developing child socially, behaviorally, and maybe for neurological development and learning as well. These kids seem to be constantly irritable and mean. I think there SHOULD be studies done on this and it should be talked about.
But I think it is more a social problem that we plug our children + ourselves into television sets, we eat and watch junk all day and then we are unhealthy, both parents have to work and still they're falling behind, we have no time for our families, our values and priorities are upside down. I do not support censorship but education and healthy choices.
I am aware of what my children watch. I like to think that those parents who are not, or who do not think it is important, might change their ways if they learned real facts about the damage it can do.
