The biggest idiot of them all is Pied Piper Pitt with his dopey Hockey Game Theory of Geopolitics. According to Pitt, the Olympic victory of the American hockey team over the Soviets at Lake Placid in 1980 unleashed a bunch of nationalistic fanatics screaming "USA! USA" which heralded the beginning of the Third America Reich, oops, I mean Empire.
