If Bush had simply refused to follow the direction of SCOTUS, he would have been vilified, he would have lost the support of the cowards in his own party, and he would now be on the beach looking for employment. Meantime nothing would have been done toward ending the abortion holocaust. Bush has taken more positive measures in a pro-life direction than any other president, including Ronald Reagan. Bears repeating. Also, a thought occurs: Did Oscar Schindler do as much to end the Holocaust as he could have? After all, to paraphrase cpforlife, "A person is anti-Holocaust only to the degree to which they are willing to actually 'do something about it.'" Maybe Schindler could have done more. Maybe the couple who sheltered Anne Frank's family could have, too.
