I did a search before posting this thread and couldn't find anything like it. But if you all talked about this a few years ago when the tax cuts went through, feel free to yank it. Otherwise, I was just wondering if anyone else has taken the time to fill out tax forms from the past just to compare.

She then decided her lunch was over and left. It was almost sad. I suppose now I probably shouldn't ask her out....(too bad, she's kinda cute). Her loss. You're $500 richer! LOL.

"I don't consider myself rich (my salary is in the low 30's)"
Same here. Those who say that you must earn six-figures in order to benefit from Bush's tax cuts are misguided.
I got creamed in the stock market long before the 2000 election. Problem was that I had 50% of my portfolio in JDS Uniphase. I took a 90% loss on that company/stock alone.
I'm trying to recover, but am not sure what stocks look promising over the next 12 to 24 months. Ironically, my boss, an Investor Relations VP at a Fortune 500 company, was touting JDSU in early 2000 and I jumped in, without conducting much self-research.
I fully accept personal responsibility for my own miserable mistakes. I made the decisions; my boss merely provided advice.
