I've been thinking an audible alert (beeber) from FR would be cool. The way it would work is if you get a post it makes an audible sound on your computer. This way we could wake up in the middle of the night and use more of Jim's bandwith.

IIRC there was something like that here, but I don't know if they took it out or not. It worked off of the NEWPOSTSTOYOU function.
I only turn up the volume if I want to listen to something.
Sorry, not for me. This would seriously cause problems in the marriage. He thought he would never get through the 2000 election..hahaha If I hear anything, when I hear it I simply go to FR automatically.
Yep still there- look in the top right corner of the BROWSE page and click on the little speaker thingy.
