----As for the marriage thing,I can sympathize. My wife left me last week ( I can't imagine why! I'm so lovable and easy to get along with lol).----I know she did, Forkboy. She was seeing ME on the side because you were too busy crying and screaming and making spreadsheet tabulations of selected Ohio counties to pay any attention to her.
She wasn't bad, either.

thanx as always for the pings, but shouldn't it be MORDOR, not GONDOR? Oops! You're right. To tell you the truth, I was never all that big of a LOTR fan. Yeah I read the books and found them fun but I didn't devote my whole literary life to them. Right now I am reading "First Salute" by Barbara Tuchman and find that much more interesting than LOTR (forgive me the heresy). I recommend that book. You will find out why the Battle of Yorktown really was a MIRACLE.

"So do I," said Gandalf, "and so do all who live to see such times.Except Will Pitt & the rest of DU, who display their immaturity by valuing excitement over happiness. The Chinese phrase "May you live in interesting times" is a CURSE, not a blessing.

now don't insult Karl. Saruman? No Karl is the one and only Sauron! It's in the eye! The Eye in the middle of A Perfect Rovian Storm.

Man, what a bunch of geeks and losers. They're so enraged over the "stealing" of the election, and all they can think to do is start quoting Hobbits and wizards... Someone needs to flag Laura Ingraham and other radio talk show hosts that the Leftwing Loons are now so far gone that they are quoting LOTR for moral support. The general public would get quite a laugh hearing these quotes, especially if accompanied by LOTR theme music.

George Bush as Saruman? But wouldnt that role be more proper for Karl Rove?] I don't know. Can Saruman create a Perfect Rovian Storm?

As I stated before I never did completely saturate myself in LOTR lore. Yeah, I enjoyed reading LOTR and watching the movies as well but I found true books about REAL things much more interesting. Also a lot of novels like "From Here To Eternity," which although fiction was based on the REAL pre-war Army in Hawaii.

I know not where others stand, for me give me Exxxtasy or give meCrack!
Going out on a limb here, all this sounds more like Willow haranguing the Scoobies on Buffy the Vampire Slayer the series.

I had him figured for a conman when he started over 100 threads on the "upcoming" Plame indictments. In every single one of them he promised "Big News Today. The indictments WILL be handed down today! I have an inside source." Then later in the day when the DUmmies would start asking what happened, then he would reveal that the paperwork hit a "snag." The next morning the same thing, "Bush will led from the Whithouse in cuffs! The indictments are in, my source says." Same fuhkin' thing for over 100 threads. Now you know why he is known as Pied Piper Pitt. However, Pitt has supplied us with a lot of ENORMOUS comic relief entertainment.

Bush has enveloped the world in a Cult of Death. Many will suffer and many will die. Every day that I can survive is a sort-of-great-day. Utopia is what the Cult of Death is now offering. Most people in this country have no idea of what we are talking about. Sad, really sad.The real problem is that most of the DU posters have no idea what they are talking about.
Was just browsing on the DU site this morning and found this thread concerning Bush and his comments on the tsunamis:
http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_mesg&forum=102&topic_id=1106166&mesg_id=1106166
Hard to believe that they can use this tragedy to bash Bush. This has to be a new low for that group.
To: PJ-Comix
Oh great. Bush is Sauron, Karl Rove is Saruman, and the DUmmies are the Fellowship of the Ring...
Great. I just got these 3 films as a christmas present, and now when I watch them, I'm going to have to start rooting for "evil". Thanks.

PJ's LoTR analogies are as bad as Pitt's. Clear your mind, then watch the movies. :~D

I skipped the LOTR "saturation" too, I'm just bordering on criminally anal retentive. :)

Sounds like the lord of the bad ring job.
For those who don't know, Pitt was a poster here until he was banned. Sounds like he's been hanging out in too many Burger Kings with his friend, Scott Ritter.
