How do you know that tomatoes don't scream every time you cut them?? Carrots, when you pull off the stems? Onions when you dice them? Where does it stop?

How do you know that tomatoes don't scream every time you cut them?? Carrots, when you pull off the stems? Onions when you dice them?

I do this all the time and I never heard them scream, not once, never.
