In actual numbers, is california experiencing negative population growth?

I think so. I've read a couple of times that our increase in population is only because of "undocumented" immigrants. If you factor them out, Kalifornia had a net decrease in the past 4-5 years.

Mr. RightField retires in 2005. We're outta here then!!

Nope. The illegals are more than making up for the population losses.
