Clinton to Democrats: Don't whine, work on image SAM DOLNICK, Associated Press Writer

(11-05) 14:12 PST NEW YORK (AP) --
Former President Clinton has a message for Democrats inconsolable after President Bush's re-election: Buck up. It's not that bad. You need to improve your image.
"This election presents a great opportunity for President Bush and a great opportunity for Democrats, and the two are not necessarily in conflict," Clinton said in his first public remarks since Democratic Sen. John Kerry's defeat on Tuesday.
The last two-term Democratic president said the party needs to rework its image and it would be "a mistake for our party to sit around and ... whine about this and that or the other thing."
Hi all, I have not been able to vent on here because unfortunately I didn't have enough posts to start a thred (Skinner raised the antee so to speak so ********** couldnt post initally).Anyway here is my plee: Our Democratic leaders need to grow a spine! *Either come out and say plainly your for gay marriage or your not. F** civil unions or "some benefits" or "some visiting rights" or anything else that is dressed like gay marriage but you dont have the b**** to come out and support it. If your for it, support it and if your not say it. *Come out and be pro-choice or don't. Don't claim "I support a womans right to choose but I also believe in the Bible, and I am catholic (or insert any other religion).." and drone on about respecting and understanding where anti-choice people are coming from.
*Come out and support the iraq war or don't. None of this "well I support it but it was the wrong time, wrong place" crap. If you dont believe in the war, what it was for, why we went ..if you think we were lied to, SAY IT!!! *If you believe our social security fund is being raped, that our deficit is out of control, that our economy just sucks, here is a thought: Say it. Say it again. Say it some more. Do not waiver, do not change your mind, drill it over and over.
In other words, just like Howard Dean.
It is the ONLY way we get this country back.
Yes, they think they'll win with Howard Dean. When Mrs. Clinton loses in 2008, will they nominate him in 2012?
It's almost too much to ask for.
get = gets

I think the DUmmies are nice. If we understood the root causes of their hate and intolerance, I bet we could help them.
Slow learner.
Is the "Clinton Sabotage Theory" banned on DU?
I searched once (using an external engine), and found
nothing suggesting that they permit themselves to
consider the possibility that Kerry was the Clinton-
approved Designated Loser for 2004.
Do the DU'ers seem to have any general awareness of
what has happened to the party since Billary took over
the DNC in 1992, and how unusual it is for an ex-POTUS
(and FLOTUS!) to remain in control, through loss after
loss?
Nah!
"Grab'em by the balls and their hearts & minds'll follow."
hahaha, that's funny! But God knows skerry tried to fool the "red necks" I think they are really going to have a hard time trying to improve their goals, agenda, or stance! The red tates aren't as dumb as the dems would like to think!
LOL...! Nothing like a lil' reverse psych.
BWAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! The BEST part about this is that Hillary is going to be the RAT Party 2008 candidate!!! Maybe they won't support her! Quite a predicament isn't it? LOL!!
Change your image..........
How vaccuous. Clinton is the original empty suit.
Howard Dean would be even better 2008, he's such a psycho...Remember when all the dems turned on him after that one really...
"yahhhh, woo hoo..." H. Dean (along with a huge arm swing)
A few friendly recommendations for our Democrat friends:
1) Get over your love affair with abortion.
2) Cut the "living Constitution" crap. We could never play football if we spent the entire time reinterpreting the rules.
3) Quit trying to ram your agenda down the people's throats by using the judiciary.
4) Admit that Republicans have at least some virtues, even like sewing our own clothes or being good cooks. This Zoroastrian clash of Pure Evil (Freepers) vs. Pure Good (DUmmies) is pure crap.
5) Grab a beer, hop in your pickup truck and go to your once a week bowling league. Sober up and go to church the next day.
I think they are mostly youngsters who were busy playing Power Rangers back in 92.
And one more thing:
5) Just because someone doesn't agree with you doesn't make them liars or morons. That gets real old real fast.
That's the "Roe" effect.
Ya know, from a Darwinian perspective conservatives have a huge survival advantage: we don't kill our own young.
