In one of the posts above, poster said they had heard George Bush wanted in the Lamb's Book of Life so bad. I've got news for this person. He's already there.

I agree. That was the reason I included that one, because it shows how warped they are.

Here are some more recent ones:

Not personally, natch. And I'm not. But I know plenty people pissed off like mad that gay marriage issue couldn't wait, and cost this election.

Hear the straights talking this for months now. Backlash time. DUCK.

June 27, 1969. Stonewall. Meat market district.

Be careful out there.

Are you saying you know people who are mad because the gay marriage issue cost Kerry the election..and they are mad at gay people because of it? Seems to me Bush made it such an issue and got what he wanted.

I started ducking when Bush was first elected.

On a related note, Michigan voted in an amendment to the Michigan Constitution that now "defines marriage as only between one man and one woman" plus a few more lines that make no sense. And this state also went for Kerry. I'm feeling quite depressed.

activism mode. No more sitting back and watching the world spin and pass by around me.

With the prospect of Supreme Court Justices appointments by the now Theocratic Head of the Religious Right in power, I'm going to make sure I keep informed and that my voice is heard by my Representatives to Congress and anyone else who needs to get their butts pricked.

Maybe this is a little late in life, but better late than never. Washington D.C. and everyone else is going to be hearing from me, and if half of the population of these United States who feel like we do would do the same, then maybe we can still make a difference--even now.

I find it quite ironic that the evangelical Christians that probably gave Bush his win were mobilized by the activism for gay marriage.

There are so many reasons Bush should have lost this election, yet the Dems made damn sure he would win.
