Imagine that you are trying to help kids understand the bigger picture, so to speak, of items further in a museum, by introducing them, step by step, to some basics.
Kids need steps and they need things with which their minds can use some imagination to have what they are looking at, sink in; followed by the next step, that in turn, and again, engages their imagination, etc.
A teacher can walk into a room, show the class the table of elements, demand that they know it by Thursday, and then what?
Or, a teacher can show you, by only studying the gases, and a few metals, how scientists of some time ago, began to discover the secrets of the atom, and so you have taught them quite a lot of the understanding of chemistry, by their learning the basic steps of such discoveries.
In a way, all events for kids, is lab work, home work; the trick is to not make it much of a chore, but instead, an adventure.
Nice feedback to our young conservative.
Hey Admins..............could it make sense for you to crate a KIDS FORUM......where young people, lets say advertise it from 12 to 17, whatever can meet and share with one another?
Just a thought........
You're trying to provide instruction?
Granted, I haven't looked yet. The instruction hit me as ironic and gave me a laugh.
