And I am quoting:
"Iraq tried to manipulate foreign governments by awarding contracts and bribes to foreign companies and political figures in countries that showed support for ending sanctions, in particular Russia, France and China, the final report by the U.S.-led Iraq Survey Group said earlier this month. But Annan said it was "inconceivable" Saddam's activities could have influenced policy in the countries concerned.
"I don't think the Russian or the French or the Chinese government would allow itself to be bought..." Annan said. "
Hard to believe he's not Emperor. The rest of his comments are equally priceless. Read at your own risk.

UN SECRETARY GENERAL KOFI ANNAN DECIDES, UNILATERALLY, TO GO INSANE
I just heard the report on Fox. The UN has worn out it's usefulness. Time to kick them out
Of course Saddam couldn't do it by himself. That would be against international law. However, if the UN SG helped, all would be well.
Kofi.."Supersize it."
Annan is sweeting out his time before personal accusations are supported with facts as how he allowed much of what the French, Germans, Russians, and others to get away with during those years the sanctions where put in place. Obviously the MSM is not going to go hog wild and report of all the inconsistenies the UN has been involved in relating to Iraq and the oil for food program. You don't meantion anything wrong with the UN unless it is clear you cannot get away with saying nothing wrong about them. The guy is one heck of an operator that is for sure.
