"pressure wound" is more technically descriptive. Reeve lived in a chair, not a bed.

What I'm curious about is, with all the money thrown down the rat-hole in health-care, why they don't use better materials for mattresses, thermal foam or water-beds.

They're also called pressure wounds...more technical names for bed sores.
