Thursday may be in play, but there needs to be some serious, hard core, indisputable proof on this matter before FReepers and others run off to the media with phone calls, emails, letters to the editor, etc... on this.
Another thing to consider is that Kerry said he heard the message on Saturday on his cell phone. That doesn't mean Reeve left the message Saturday.

So, regardless of when the call was made (Friday or Saturday), if Reeve was incapacitated starting on Thursday, the call could not have taken place.

Yes it does because Kerry mentions Reeves thanking him for the support in Friday night's debate. Here's the quote: "...Kerry said the last time he heard from Reeve was on Saturday, when the actor left a message on his cellphone, enthused by the Massachusetts senator's decision to raise stem-cell research in Friday's second presidential debate".

Another thing to consider is that Kerry said he heard the message on Saturday on his cell phone. That doesn't mean Reeve left the message Saturday. Kerry will just say that the message came from someone close to Reeves, who expressed Reeves gratitude on his behalf. Solves the timing and ability problem.
