Mission statement about Campus-Watch
Keeping an eye on those teaching our nation's students
Harvard slow to revamp Middle East studies
Middle East Froums - for high schools and colleges
Middle East studies under scutiny in the uS
Daniel Pipes speech at IUB Campus
Middle East Professors want to be on Campus-Watch bad list
Arrest of Dr. Sami Al-Arian, a Palestinian Professor from the University of Southern Florida
Examples of other Middle Eastern politicos at our nation's schools
Arab Professor Mazan Al-Najjar deported to the Middle East
Many are still conducting classes and spinning anti-American rhetoric on whatever campus they are located. Does the right of free speech include subversiveness to the American government by these individuals, some of whom are not American citizens and have allegiance to other countries. Our universities don't care what is taught, as long as tuitions are paid and classes are filled.
Hello Brent - welcome to NoE! Look forward to working with you and helping you sleuth to the best of my ability should you need assistance.
My what a familiar name you have.
Warm welcome to FreeRepublic.
JJ, anytime we hear of even one goood thing just as you posted in a day, it is a day of victory, thank you!
Never gonna give you up, never gonna let you down, never gonna run around and desert you...

More than glad to help. I have to apologize for slacking off on the postings recently; all the hurricanes took away my time, energy and focus. I promise to be more vigilant, though! :-)
Oh I am getting more angry from one link to the next!

Middle East Studies Under Scrutiny in U.S.
Herein lies the key:
When Rashid Khalidi took over the newly established {{{Edward Said}}} Chair of Middle East Studies at Columbia University last fall, the appointment was generally viewed as an academic coup for the school, which had succeeded in wooing away a prominent Middle East expert from the University of Chicago, a longtime rival.
In recent months, Pipes and other conservatives have begun pushing for stronger congressional oversight of the $95 million in government subsidies for Middle East and other area studies programs.
{Amen to this, help us little hunter's with some funding!}

Our old friends Sami and his BIL{Palestinian immigrant Mazen Al-Najjar was deported to "a U.S.-friendly Middle Eastern country," his attorney said.}
How did these two gain so much sympathy?! People weren't doing their homework!!!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
And this was about the time all news on Sami stopped:
Early this morning, Thursday, February 20, 2003, FBI agents in Tampa, Florida, arrested Dr. Sami Al-Arian, a Palestinian professor from the University of South Florida (USF). As he was led into the Tampa headquarters of the FBI, Al-Arian told reporters: "It's all about politics."
{Whose father was it that belonged to ANSWER?! A beheaded victim!}
This one left me speechless:
