Number one, he said he would immediately open bilateral talks with the North Koreans.

This is one thing that has puzzled me. Can anyone explain why Kerry wants MORE international support with Iraq, Iran, etc, but LESS with North Korea? I've never felt right about the Dems stance on Korea, but I wasn't able to pinpoint exactly why until Kerry articulated this tonight.

I was shocked. This was clearly a proven failure of an idea and he voluntarily put it out there and then repeated it! Holbrook on Fox was already trying to weasel out of it. He claimed that Kerry DIDN"T say bilateral talks but MEANT that he would talk directly to the North Koreans within the multilateral talks.
