Not debating would be a stupid, stupid move.

We can only hope Tribemike is not an adviser to the president.

I agree, there should be at least 2 debates.

They would be good for Bush because the left actually buys into it's own propaganda - that Bush is a moron.

Remember what happened to Al Gore? Gore thought he was gonna wipe the floor with Bush. And by the last debate he had hired feminist Naomi Wolf to teach him how to act like an 'Alpha Male'.

Bush has gotten good advice from others who have debated Kerry in the past, like William Weld. Kerry's single most effective debate tactic is........to change the subject.

That's it. He does it over and over and over and over.

So all Rove and Bush's advisors have to do is counsel him to keep going back to the main subject being debated and don't let Kerry change it.

Bush can be an exceptional speaker. The left may not believe it and may have spent the last 4 years brainwashing themselves that he's not, but I saw the speeches he made while Gov. of Texas, and the ones he made after 9-11.

Bush knows how to connect with people because he can speak from his heart from conviction.

Kerry can't do that. Kerry will hem and haw and digress and nuance and try to feel out the answer that is desired.

Bush is a good debater. Just ask Al Gore. I don't think Kerry has bothered to ask Al, though.
