Amen, brother. Richard Nixon declared a "War on Cancer" back in 1971. Thirty-four years later, we've still got cancer.

There are types of cancer that don't seem to have a cause. You can only treat those types of cancers after the fact. But everyone knows what causes AIDS.

Cancer comes to you without an invitation. If you want AIDS, you've got to go get it.

You are right about other technologies. These people thought the disease could be cured with money. Reagan put $6 BILLION into AIDS research. Like everything else liberal, this is just one big lie. The funding level was at the max that the research centers could actually make use of. Here we are after 8 glorious years of Clinton and still no cure.

I remember the hysteria around how AIDS would wipe out the population of the world. Everybody would get it and die. It was worse than global warming. That was a lie as well.

RR was responsible for the Orphan Drug Act which did more for AIDS research than could have been done if the entire budget had been dedicated to eliminating HIV. Liberals, being Symbolists, totally discount any action in favor of Symbols and of Caring.
