From what I remember about BADJOE, he seemed like a good egg. There's something disturbing about a thread like this attracting so many negative posts about a good person.

I wonder if all the folks posting negative things about BADJOE here even know who he is.

I had never heard of Liberty Post before this thread, and I've been an FR member since 2000. It is just plain amazing how these people raise some huge stink over here, get booted, and then think they're going to change the whole world by going over to some hole-in-the-wall website and making bitter comments. Bitter is for losers, even if it's justified, and I certainly get the impression it's not in the majority of these cases, if ever.

It's the present incarnation of what was originally known as "The Free Republic Lifeboat." - It is something that will always exist, as there will always be those who buck the powers that be, here at FR, and get banned for whatever length of time Jim sees as appropriate, and need a place to go to lick their wounds. (I was once one their retched number)

Who cares? - Those who are over there simmering, and few else. - Some will get over it, and some will not. Those who wish to be in any way effective will return, since while they are there, they are invisible.
