You should be ashamed of yourselves to have someone like "ex-marine" in your midst. He is a racist bigot. This is not the party that will attract black conservatives.

Notice that only AFTER he found out that I was black did he say "now the truth comes out".

When he realized that he was showing his true colors then he said "I don't care what color you are!" Please! He is such a bigot he can not hide it.

He ASSUMES that I am a member of the "Rainbow Coalition". Why? Because I am black. He just can not help himself making racist comments and I have had it with his type of "conservatism".

I have friends that are white, black, asian....liberal and conservative. Veterans and non-veterans. It makes no difference to me. But this "man" is beyond redemption.

Since I stated that I am for collecting racial information (I stated it was for profiling for criminal, i.e. terrorist, actions) he ASSUMES that I am for racial quotas! Why? Because I am black!

This man is a poor pathetic race-hater and race-baiter. I expect more from my party (Republican..whether he believes it or NOT!) than people such as this. I am ashamed of him.

I don't believe he was replying to the part about you being black in his response.

Maybe it was must my reading of his statement.

This is the bit that could have lead him to his conclusion:

The derogatory term "bible-thumper" insults a great many conservatives. Conservatives aren't "doing" anything to "gay people", they're trying to protect families against what is, to many people, a mental disorder gaining acceptance only through political manipulation.

All people are created equal. What they do with their lives changes that balance. Government is the only entity that should not discriminate based upon the choices people have made with their lives.

I don't think you and exmarine need to be at each others' throats on this issue. If I'm wrong, and he was purely referring to your skin color...then I'm wrong, and you're right and I will apologize.

SONbrad......exmarine is NOT a nice person. He hides behind his 'Christianity' to scream out his angry political views. As much as is possible, ignore everything he says, because he obviously gets his jollies from hurting people and lording his 'spirituality' over them.

I thank God that he is NOT a Republican, and that YOU are.

I want to apologize to you on behalf of real, and loving Christians who model Jesus Christ for the bludgeoning and accusations of those who claim to be of Christ, but belie that claim in every angry and demeaning word they say.
