Living somewhere does not make one's point of view better. Once in awhile I would like to see at least ONE SINGLE fact used to back up your point of view.
You can keep calling me names, as all arniebots do to conservatives, but it does not change the facts or the analysis.
Frankly, I'm getting to the point that I almost hope you elect Arnie, so I can laugh at you when he raises taxes [again, show me any proof he will not. I have cited my proof that he will - i.e. he is running the same scam that his "mentor" pete wilson did, saying he will only raise taxes in an emergency, then declare a fiscal emergency and raise taxes).
The rest, I'm tired of pointing out. The truth is, that I could care less about McClintock. I just don't think the GOP should support a candidate that is so clearly liberal. What good does it do if you win, but your opponents' positions get advanced? No one has been able to explain that to me. Expanding the GOP in CA by making the GOP liberal is not a victory, unless of course, you are liberal.
B/c someone does not support Arnold does not make that person a zealot (nice that arniebots have taken to using dem tactics of calling conservatives zealots, etc. , next you will be calling me racist, homophobic, etc. - way to grow with your new leader). Conservatives can be flexible. But, compromise involves give and take. Arnold has given conservatives abosolutely nothing. He has even gone out of his way to oppose conservative ideas and insult conservatives. Why then should any conservative vote for him.
As to McClintock not being able to win, that may be true. The only reason for that in a recall election is because there is a significan portion of the GOP, including most arniebots here on FR it appears, who would never support a conservative candidate. If 1/2 of the people who claim to like McClintock over Arnold, but say McClintock cannot win would support McClintock, he would be leading Arnold in the polls, and possibly even Bustamante. Don't forget, this is not a regular election and the winner will probably only win with around 30% of the vote. So, your argument is really that YOU would never vote for a conservative. Which is fine, but don't pretend to be holier than thou to people who will not support Arnold based on his policies. To some people, winning is only good if you advance your cause. Even if you advance your cause only a little. Unfortunately, Arnold does not advance the conservative cause, even a little.
If he does, cite me something so I can at least argue with facts instead responding to your rants.

And, Grunt 68, none of the facts I have presented, nor the analysis I have made from those facts, has ever been refuted. If it were, by real facts, I would admit I was wrong. If you can point to one refutation of my analysis, do so. There is a challenge from me, to you.

I don't believe I called you any names at all, yet. You have, repeatedly. Here is a fact, twenty-something year oldsters point at McC on the news and laugh, and say who is that bozo. I say, 'well, that's Tom McClintock, and he's the best candidate for governor.' And they say they never heard of him, and I ask if they will vote for Schwarzenegger and they say yes and then I ask if Arnie drops out will they vote for Tom and they say 'who' again. You can't convince people to vote for someone they laugh at, it is impossible.
