NEVER FORGET
.."TOM McSELFISH =
...Gov. BustaMENCHA"
........was THE Sign to behold at this weekend's California Republican Convention held in Playa Del Rey next to the Los Angeles International Airport. So I did.
...No Convention Endorsement came for California Governor, but a posted Convention Straw Poll showed ARNOLD with nearly ..80%.. of the votes verses a little over ..18%.. for TOM McCLINTOCK.
...No one backed down this weekend, though it was hoped one Candidate for California Governor would, with Recall Election Financier Congressman ISSA watching it all unfold right before his very eyes.

Just like he embarrasses good Christians, good FReepers and good Marines, he really embarrasses me as an American, more, as a fellow human being.

Just received another name-calling e-mail from "exmarine". I am now certain that he is NOT an ex-marine, or if he was he was dismissed. He can not control himself which a good marine MUST do.
I am really sickened by his name-calling, espcially when he accuses everyone else of doing it to him. I pity him!

Have you told the AM? There are rules against that stuff, and I'd like to see that scoundrel gone.

Here are the beliefs of Arnold S. - this is for all of you who call yourselves "conservative" who think Ahh-nold is abetter than Davis:
1.Pro-abortion (supports killing babies)
2.Pro gay adoption - and will sign bills to this effect - as if Calif. doesn't have enough gay rights laws signed by Davis. A vote for Ahh-nold is a vote for gay families. How pleasing to God, hmmm?
3.Pro gun control (which means he doesn't understand the U.S. Constitution or is ignorant of it) 4.Opposes Prop. 54 which would eliminate the collection of info on race, ethnicity, etc. Apparently, Ahh-nold like racial quotas as much as any other liberal.
5.Has NO Plan whatsoever for the economy (is not even qualified to run a state govt)
6.Has no plan for illegal immigratoin - biggest issue in the State.
Bottom line: Ahh-nold IS A LIBERAL and holds to moral principles that are abominations to God, has no qualifications to be governor. I would like to know just what is it the makes him different than Davis besides his accent!!
Go ahead and waste your vote on Ahh-nold, but don't expect others to co-sign your crapola if you do, because I won't consider you to be a conservative any more than the man you vote for is conservative.

I'm not exactly sure, but I think I'd go to 'my mail' and compose a letter the the 'Admin Mod' and state the nature of the complaint, or just hit abuse on one of his posts and then state your pm complaint. Save them, because I think the AM can peruse them without you having to cut and paste.

C'mon 68 Grunt. At least try to be serious. I don't think any of the other Arnbots would even try to claim that Arnold is conservative.

1 I don't really CARE whether you consoder me to be a conservative or NOT. I don't want to be associated with your rascist kind of conservatism.
2. I notice that you need to mention Arbold's accent. Interesting. I guess that puts you on a par with Davis, himself.
3. Abortion has nothing to do with a Governor. Except on parental notification which Arnold supports, as well as he is against partial-birth abortions. You left that out. Convenient.
4. I am an NRA member, but there does need to be some controls. Why do you need an assault rifle? No reason, really. You want one, join the military.
5. I WANT them to collect racial information. In the war on terror it may help profiling which I whole-heartedly agree with...and liberals do not!
6. As for the economy and illegal immigration, I have heard Arnold speak on a number of issues. Don't you think he might need to study the issue a little bit before deciding NOW? Don't you think these issues deserve some thought? Or are you so smart that you could fix it NOW? I think not.
7. Arnold is far from a liberal on fiscal issues, which sets him well apart from Davis.
That is all the time I have for you. By the way, thanks for the name-calling e-mails.

I am serious! He is the most electable conservative in the race. The other dude is a social conservative with megalogmanic and messianic complexes. There is noway California will vote for a x-treme conservative which they perceive as a neo-nationalist tyrannical wonk.

"This is about Arnold, not McClintock. Let me remind you of the origination of this thread: conservatives are being told to vote for Arnold Schwarzenegger.
Conservatives asked one question: Why?
And for that question we're being excoriated and ex-communicated."
Good point. I've been saying the same thing for weeks now. I have asked, time and again, why any conservative should support Arnold. Not one single FR poster has been able to give me a reason, other than "he can win". Well, of course a liberal can win in CA. If all of the "Republicans" who claim to be conservative who support Arnold supported McClintock, McClintock could also win. That these people say McClintock cannot win is really an admission that they would never vote for a conservative. But, that raises the question, why does that mean a conservative should vote for Arnold, even if McClintock were out of the race?
The other thing that I love, is that Arniebots have taken to calling non-Arnold supporters as "zealots" and other names, straight out of the Rat playbook. Next, they will be saying we are racists, homophobes, etc.
What they fail to see, is that it is not a question of zealotry, or inflexibility. It is a question of value. In order for conservatives to compromise, they need to be offered something in return. Arnold has gone out of his way, not only to not offer conservatives even a crumb, but to actively insult conservatives. How any conservative could feel compelled to vote for him, and expect others to do so, is beyond me.
In what world do they think conservatives will get any respect from the CA gop if they vote for Arnold now? Basically, the lesson the CA gop, and probably the national gop, will learn is that it is o.k. to move as far left as Diane Fienstien (oops, I forgot, she supports school choice, Arnold does not), and conservatives will vote for them b/c they have an "R".
Logic dictates that conservatives do not support Arnold. Zealotry for a political party or celeberity worship are the only things that would dictate supporting Arnold.

"I am serious! He is the most electable conservative in the race."
You are very confused. An argument might be made that he is the most electable "Republican" in the race. But no logical or factual argument can be made that he is a conservative. Therefore, he cannot be the most electable conservative in the race.
If you claim Arnold is a conservative, you really have no idea what conservatism is. He is for big gov't (by his own statements and campaigning in the past for bigger gov't programs); he is for gun-control; he is for abortion; he is for gay adoption; he is not for cutting back benefits to illegal immigrants; he has refused to state he won't raise taxes (Much like pete wilson, his mentor, who said the exact same thing, then immediately raised taxes due to a "fiscal crisis); won't talk about what, if any, spending he will cut; has many liberal advisors, including Warren Buffet and Robert Kennedy Jr.; won't debate; fully supports affirmative action.
How on earth can you even begin to say he is conservative in any way, shape, or manner. You might be able to argue that he is the lesser of two evils (Cruz or Arnold), but that is the best you could do.
