NEVER FORGET
.."TOM McSELFISH =
...Gov. BustaMENCHA"
........was THE Sign to behold at this weekend's California Republican Convention held in Playa Del Rey next to the Los Angeles International Airport. So I did.
...No Convention Endorsement came for California Governor, but a posted Convention Straw Poll showed ARNOLD with nearly ..80%.. of the votes verses a little over ..18%.. for TOM McCLINTOCK.
...No one backed down this weekend, though it was hoped one Candidate for California Governor would, with Recall Election Financier Congressman ISSA watching it all unfold right before his very eyes.

Artist - you are very funny. The 446 to which you refer was deleted upon my 'abuse report'. There was nothing worthy of having that post pulled, and I could repost it at anytime, and I'm pretty sure it would stay up as it was. You shouldn't mischaracterize. My next post said exactly the same thing, without my funny attempt at rage. You are fixated on the sex and about peoples private matters. Your character is lacking. Clinton was a traitor! Clinton is a communist agent, as is his witch. Yet you're hung up on sex. Your character is in want.

"a well-formed Christian conscience does not permit one to vote for a political program or an individual law which contradicts the fundamental contents of faith and morals. [...] This is the case with laws concerning abortion and euthanasia (not to be confused with the decision to forgo extraordinary treatments, which is morally legitimate). Such laws must defend the basic right to life from conception to natural death." - Doctrinal Note on Some Questions Regarding the Participation of Catholics in Political Life

Too bad all the aborts that happen under Cruz won't be able to handle the Love. Its okay - they go immediately in the queue for re-issue. Arnie could start the reversal, but, whatever. My Savior has told me, ah nevermind ...

I thought it was disgusting. Crude, foul and disgusting.
Funny thing, 68grunt. I agreed completely with your polite post, saying the same thing.
Perhaps you did a disservice to your (our) position with your 'attempt' at humor.
The point remains. xlinton's debauchery endangered this country and it's future. It put our lives at peril, and cost us at least 3,000 lives on 9/11.
xlinton was a traitor. Arnold was an immoral young man.
There is NO comparison......and any attempt to make one, as you did, Artist, is weak, and frankly......stupid. And in trying to make the comparison repeatedly as you did, IMO, you make it seem as though you are diminishing the horror of xlinton's treason in your own eyes....

This is an unsourced poll, of course, but if it's even close to accurate, it's more a reason to drop out of the Republican Party, than to vote for the actor. You are exactly right. I have dropped out of the Repub. Party, and people of true moral principle are dropping out every day. The Question is: Can the Republicans survive without the support of evangelical Christians? The answer: NO - that is their base which they have ignored! Watch out - James Dobson (a man who millions of Christians respect and whose advice they follow) has hinted in the past that he may abandon the Republican party - and millions will follow him. At that point, the Repub. Party will go the way of the Whigs. Kaput.
To: MrLeRoy
I'm sure that I could never come up with the 'evidence' you are demanding to support my 'claims.' When I have time, I will look to see if their are any sources I can cite.
It would all be considered circumstantial and hearsay to you, since I don't know off hand of any study that asked conservatives how many of them voted for the little general because they were mad at GHW.
But, I have heard/read many admit it, some admitting the error in it.....others, like Maelstrom, here, defending it to the death.
Besides which, Perot was masquerading as a conservative, NOT a liberal, and so it follows logically that a larger number of conservatives fell for his deceit. Why would any liberal vote for him and not for the media darling, charismatic savior of the world, WJC? It defies logic that there were numbers of them who did.
And as far as I'm concerned, anyone who doesn't admit that GHW Bush was the better man, has blinders on.
Oh, and I have a personal question for you, which is genuine, whether it seems like it to you or not.....
Who is your 'Savior?' You tell us that He/he is telling you what to do, but I would like clarification as to who He/he is.

The Republican Party will never lose the Evangelical Christian vote until there is a party that better represents us. There is none, so your dire prediction is rather pointless at best, and at worst an idle threat.
If James Dobson abandons the Republican party (which I highly doubt), where will he go?? To the dope smoking, no laws Libertarian party?? Not likely now, is it?
Best bet, ex. Work within the party and keep its platform morally strong.

The Republican Party will never lose the Evangelical Christian vote until there is a party that better represents us. There is none, so your dire prediction is rather pointless at best, and at worst an idle threat. Then you have not heard of the Constitution Party. www.constitutionparty.com. That party represents evangelical interests 1000% better than the pathetic Republicans.
Or, 20 million evangelicals can start a new party overnight. How do you think the Republican Party was born? It rose out of the ashes of the Whig party! You don't know your history. I don't care if you hold to your BLIND loyalty to a compromised, liberal and wimpy party - but many people of moral principle are leaving in droves as we speak. All you have to do is look at all the conservative people on this thread who won't vote for Ahh-nold to see that.
To: ohioWfan
Best bet, ex. Work within the party and keep its platform morally strong. hahaha. Keep it strong by voting for moral REPROBATES like Arnold? What a laugh. If you want to keep it strong - if you want to give more than just lip service to morals, then you will vote for McClintock.
To: MrLeRoy
Jesus Christ Thanks. That's what I wanted to know.
btw, he didn't look conservative to me either, but he did to Maelstrom......he said that Perot EARNED conservative votes.
I know that anecdotal evidence is not proof, but there are a whole LOT of conservatives who have admitted to voting for Perot in their anger at Bush.
I thought it was a stupid thing to do then, and I KNOW it was a stupid thing to do now, given the 8 years of torture America was put through because of it.

Just yesterday he said totally inappropriate things of a sexual nature on the Oprah show.....on primetime, when kids are watching. The GOP doesn't need a man like that in any office.
It seems obvious that people with poor characters often turn into traitors....given a chance.
As for calling me stupid, I've been very disheartened by the conduct of some Christians on this board. You're one of them.
I'm done here.

Davis if not recalled, he will be far more obnoxiously left-wing because like Clinton who was not convicted by the cowardly Senate was emboldened and felt himself politically invincible. <p.Seeing the Impeached and the Recalled together on the same stage is not a pretty sight. They are defiant. They think they are above the law.
