NEVER FORGET
.."TOM McSELFISH =
...Gov. BustaMENCHA"
........was THE Sign to behold at this weekend's California Republican Convention held in Playa Del Rey next to the Los Angeles International Airport. So I did.
...No Convention Endorsement came for California Governor, but a posted Convention Straw Poll showed ARNOLD with nearly ..80%.. of the votes verses a little over ..18%.. for TOM McCLINTOCK.
...No one backed down this weekend, though it was hoped one Candidate for California Governor would, with Recall Election Financier Congressman ISSA watching it all unfold right before his very eyes.

No.
The ENEMY = Liberalism.
Gray Davis, Bustamante, Pete Wilson, Riordan and Schwartzenegger
You're becoming narrow-minded about who conservatives are and why.
As for what you think "No Republican Wants" I refer you to Olympia Snowe, Chaffee, and several others...and you must tell us why Arnold S isn't going to join that crowd. He *already* runs with them.

A good reason for Arnold to step down, but not the best.
The best reason for Arnold to step down are his links with Riordan and his opposition to the recall in the first place.

That's disengenuos on your part. Debate for you is only further chance to cause division. You miss the most basic concepts, you straw dog, ridicule and divert. Debate you? No. I'm trying to take the point in ferreting out your ilk. If you address me I will respond with an honest answer. You may not like my honesty but you'll just have to deal with it or ignore me. That is not to say I will ignore you. I eagerly await your every denegeration as it bespeaks your character. Character, remember character? Arnold has Character. I'm voting on Arnold's character and I will be glad to restate opinion frequently.

For all your sanctimony, throughout nearly 500 posts, you haven't added a single fact or verifiable reason to support your candidate.
Now, You don't have to debate me...your loss...I'm more persuasive than you are should you convince me of Arnold's reliability. The simple fact is...you haven't debated *anyone*. You haven't given *anyone* a verifiable reason to support Arnold. You haven't given *anyone* a single fact. You haven't debated *anyone*.
Arnold has no verifiable character. His past indicates a verifiable paucity of character. His friends indicate an ambivalence toward character. His political allies indicate indifference toward character.
Your opinion isn't really worth Jack...because, quite simply, it's isn't based upon anything except, apparently, hero-worship of an *actor*...and you're supporting that actor without any qualification other than the "(R)" at the end of his name.

There is a fundamental aspect of this debate about California and conservatives you Arnold supporters are conveniently ignoring.
Conservatives opposed Davis in his election.
Conservatives began the recall petitions when Arnold, his supporters, his political allies and his friends opposed the recall.
Conservatives kept the recall going when the RINOs that masquerade as the GOP leadership in CA claimed it wasn't going anywhere.
Conservatives made the recall happen.
and *THEN*
Y'all became interested.
Now that conservatives have done all the work, you're right there, Plucky Ducky and Piggly Wiggly, all ready for a piece of the Little Red Hen's bread. (If you fail to see the analogy, expect a Fellow CONSERVATIVE Freeper to repost the children's fable for you.)
As per typical liberal practice, now that Conservatives have made this recall election happen, they receive a knife to the back from the liberals comprising the GOP.
How the hell can you expect a single conservative to refrain from *spitting* upon the lot of liberal Republicans let alone VOTE for them given the actions witnessed in California?

I care not at all about any of their sexual pecidillos. Clinton was a traitor. He went behind enemy lines, was escorted, corrupted (further), blackmailed and inserted into our elite. The people of America knew that. I shouted as much as I could, yet the people of America elected him. I am not sure I am ready to forgive them that. Please do not give me any nonsense about his sexual pecidillos.

...If you ask me, a Congressman ISSA that funded the Recall to the tune of $2 Million, was most upset when TOM McSELFISH refused to indicate he would step aside for the Good of the Party Saturday night.
...Anyway, that's how ISSA looked to me as he came bolting out of the Room right after TOM gave his Convention Speech.
...Ain't Politcs grand..?

This is Arnold's claim on conservative voters?
Pretty damn weak.
Arnold should stop running against California so that the state will have a chance to recover in the coming years.

...On the contrary, I don't think ARNOLD is counting on that many Conservative Votes. Just like its mulit-colored Pollitical Demographics, ARNOLD is counting on widely appealing to all California Voters.
He is now openly asking for the help of Democrat Voters in order to win this Recall Election.
...TOM, who is going to be Right, ...Dead Right ...come next Election Day ..isn't

It's an EXCELLENT plan... simple and brilliant LOL
No benefit in actually debating the specific folks who aren't genuinely interest in debate... sigh.

Absentee ballotsApparently, a lot of absentee ballots have been sent in. If your candidate drops out and asks you to support another candidate, and you already sent in your absentee ballot, what are you going to do to beat the Democrats?
