I think of natural selection as being a variation on free will. God gave us the ability to screw up all by ourselves in order to be surprised by what turns out, pleasantly or not. He's enormously pleased by platypi. ;^)

God does not embrace Marxism, evolution does.

Thats an interesting take. I think of it kind of like water running downhill in many rivulets. The trend looks obvious from a distance, but up close there are lots of little bumps and turns.

Fabulous movie! (Blade Runner) :-)

I was at the world science fiction convention that was held just prior to the release of that movie. They had his police car from the movie on display. Unfortunately, since the movie had not been released yet, we were not allowed to take pictures.

Hey there RA!

They had his police car from the movie on display.

Did it fly? Bladerunner is one of all time favorite Scifi movies. I didnt think the book was as good.

Gore3000: You're not an intentional liar, so won't bring up the exact threads-

Seems you woke up early today with the express intent of breaking the agreement you made less than 48 hours ago. One part of the agreement was to not to bring up old stuff. You have broken that in spades. Another part of the agreement was that if you bring up a charge against someone you will substantiate it.

I substantiated, completely and fully my charges against Patrick Henry Post# 1377 of the Draft Agreement thread

I shall expect an apology for that and I shall also expect YOU to backup your charges against me.

I love that movie as well! Nope just sat there all roped off. :-)

Another couple of movies that I thought were at least as good as the books (and there are few of those, I do love to read) was both the movie "The Andromeda Strain" and "2001: A Space Odyssey".

One more movie that I though was truly fab was the first "Alien". Aliens was also good, but it was almost a remake of the first. For the suspense, Alien take the cake of the whole series.

Since many of your posts were pulled by the mods against me, some of that exchange with me can never be completely recreated. However, pulled posts are an indication.

BTW, there is enough left to get the picture.

Do you really want to go there at this time?

Sorry to butt in here but I noticed at the top of NakatuX's post:

Yes, it's the 9th, but I'm not going to agree to the agreement until this post is finished.

"2001: A Space Odyssey".

I agree, but I liked the book too.

"Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep" had some great ideas, but was written in a bland way. Ridley Scott took the best out of it and made a great movie.

I like both movies and books. Blade Runner was truly a great movie. Rates up there with the Matrix in my book. :-)

You pretty much needed to read the book to get what they were driving at in 2001. :-)

Regardless. He expects me to have abided to the terms of the agreement even before it was even discussed months ago. I abided by it after I accepted it even though it was not in force. He had already signed on to it as is shown on Agreement of the Willing. He is in violation and I expect an apology and to back up any charges he will not apologize for.

I totally agree. It all became clearer after reading the book.

Why don't we just drop this here. Everything that was said about our exchanges can and will be backed up. Again I ask, do you really want to go there? I am willing to let it drop for all time.
