I agree with you about whether the antichrist will be Jewish - sort of. If his father is gentile and his mother Jewish he would by all outward appearance be gentile, having a gentile last name. But the Jews would consider him Jewish by virtue of the fact his mother was Jewish.
"Christ" is equivalent to Messiah. The term is distinctly Jewish not gentile. People don't realize what they are saying when they say "antichrist." The Jews rejected Jesus as their Messiah/Christ. They are still looking for their Messiah/Christ. They will never acknowledge someone to be their Messiah/Christ unless he is Jewish (his mother, at least, must be Jewish).
When he comes he will be the phony Messiah/Christ, the impostor. The true one, Jesus, has come already. The false Messiah/Christ of the Jewish people will be the antichrist.
Which take us back to the name of this thread, "Is Bush the Antichrist?" Is his father Jewish? Is Barbara Bush Jewish? The answer is no. Due to his pedigree the Jews would never accept him as the promised Messiah of the Old Testament.
Clinton, though he has the immoral attributes of the antichrist described in Daniel 11, yet neither of his parents were Jewish.

I have no disagreement with your comments in reply to my earlier comment. The word "antichrist" is itself greatly misunderstood, especially among Christians today. The word itself is used only by John in his epistles: (KJV)
1 John 2:18
"Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time."
1 John 2:22
"Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son."
1 John 4:3
"And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world."
2 John 1:7
"For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist."
We can many of us think of individuals, both Jew and Gentile, who would fit the descriptions in these verses penned by John.
Many theologians and Bible teachers today have turned the book of Revelation into scary things such as black helicopters, Armegeddon, antichrist - things that it is not. The book of Revelation, is just what it says it is in Rev 1:1 "The Revelation of Jesus Christ...".
