Evolution is sort of the keystone of the materialist/atheist axis of evil.

It is always interesting to hear that ideas, in and of themselves, can be evil. I suppose the list of evil ideas includes doubt, skepticism, curiosity (wasn't the desire for knowledge the original sin).

Of course they can be. Are you saying that Nazism was not evil? Are you saying that Communism was not evil? So yes many ideas can indeed be evil.
