"We supported the GOP and we kicked Democrat butt. We helped establish Republican control of both houses of Congress along side a Republican President for one of the very few times in modern history. We helped set the stage to begin replacing liberal activist judges with conservative judges. We helped block the liberal democrats who have controlled government for most of the last seventy years and we've set them back thirty years and maybe longer. And that's not to mention establishing Republican control in many state and local governments, some for the first time in history. .... Congratulations to all who made this historical event possible!"

And we did it in spite of the fact that we still have some naive, unsophisticated, bull-headed posters here who would rather cut their noses off to spite their faces (withold their vote or vote third party) if Mr./Ms. Perfection isn't running for office.

Their narrow ?thinking? prevents them from being able to see the big picture, and/or know what "setting the stage" must entail.

As the politically smart, street-fighter DemocRATS know, INCREMENTALISM WORKS EVERY TIME IT'S TRIED

This forum would not be attacked unless it was effectively standing in the way of KOOKS / cynical opportunists and naive, single-issue voters.

As a fellow Florida FReeper I am privledged to have you as a friend and real deal conservative. We experienced some fantastic FReeps; here in Florida, DC, (during numerous occasions) and the last FR Cruise. Every one of these events contibuted to our success in educating and articulating our constitutional tenets to the misinformed. We're winning, big time, in the battle & war, of ideas toward clear thinking and common sense.
