There was a Union in 1799.

That was the same Union that he urged an "immoveable attachment" to.

Sorta funny how his image wound up on the Great Seal of the so-called CSA. And they inaurgurated whatshisname on Washington's birthday. What could they have been thinking?

Maybe the slave power was trying to bamboozle the poor whites into fighting for slaves they could never afford to own?
