A carefully planned and well-financed campaign to overhaul Michigan's drug laws crashed Tuesday, as the state Supreme Court declined to place the issue before voters in November.

Without comment, the court upheld decisions issued last week by the Court of Appeals and a state elections panel to keep the drug question off the ballot.

There's no constitutional right to act like an a-hole

Wrong. It protects your 1st Amendment activities.

I put mine(bong) next to the framed autograph picture of Ronald Reagan

Figures, I am not surprised. I wouldn't be surprised if you defaced the picture with such childish tactics such as putting a moustache on Reagan, either.

After all he was a drug warrior.

Fair enough. There is no Constitutional mandate to act like an a-hole.

So what's your excuse?

Ok, just tell me when pot, crack or heroin has ever saved a life.

Just the other day, it saved mine. I was walking along the street and I saw a heroin needle. I'd never seen one before, so I bent down to examine it closer -- being careful not to touch it for fear of AIDS.

Just then, a truck filled with anvils rounded a curve and an anvil fell off at a high rate of speed. It sailed over my head with inches to spare. If I had been standing, I would have been killed.

Heroin saved my life.

Given you post here, its clear that your head is as dense as a diamond. In that sitution, I doubt being hit in the head with tempered steel would have had any negative effect. Try again Jr.

Gee, for a moment there I thought you were outnumbered, but than I saw there were only four of them.

Four stoned ankle biters. Nothing I can't take care of myself.

While I admit that my brain has the clarity and brilliance of a diamond, it has the density and specific gravity of a large cantelope.

I would have been killed by this Acme Anvil.

Heroin saved my life.

Just tell me when a shot of whiskey, a glass of wine or a bottle of beer has ever saved a life?

Those might be relevant items if they too were illegal.

They're perfectly relevant in a discussion of which items SHOULD be legal. Now please answer the question.

Some people call the 4th amendment a technicality. Sorry if these judges followed the law.

Funny you should mention the 4th Amendment regarding this subject, since it's the courts and LEOs who tend to see the 4th as a mere technicality when it comes to the War on Drugs.

You could ask this guy, if he wasn't killed by police in a botched raid that relied on a bogus tip from an jailed informant.

So you and your fellow anti-Freepers are acting voluntarily.

I guess you'll just have to suck it up and try harder. ;^)

Which lends credibility to the assertion that he is a paid disruptor. I,ll bet his paycheck comes from an alphabet soup agency. (either that or he is a welfare recipient loser)

Isn't it a lot of fun to lie outright?

You are utter scum, but this is not like it is news or anything.

You seem to enjoy telling your "stories" to your anti-Freeper buddies over there.
