True, but the ratings are just for a few chosen votes which skews it a bit. Also, one of his votes was against fast track, which is the correct vote IMO.

The American Conservative Union are socialists, as can be seen from their ratings system. For example, the American Conservative Union supports federal funding of education.

That has nothing to do with this issue. This is a constitutional issue, and Paul is right in the questions that he is asking.

By the ACU. Which of course just tows the (R) party line. Like for example if he votes against a Bush spending bill, because it increases too much, it's voted as a 'not conservative'. However, the other people who voted against it (D), voted against it because 'it wasn't enough money.' Therein lies the difference.
