Actually it's a true statement. A libertarian would never support a liberal candidate.
To: exodus
Libertarians are NOT conservative, they have NEVER been conservative. Libertarians are liberals that don't want to pay for the mess they create i.e. SELFISH LIBERALS.

If so, why are there so many libertarians who say publicly that they would never vote for a liberal?
Why are there so many Republicans who would proudly vote for Jim Jeffords, if he would only rejoin the Republican Party?
The ends justify the means, right, Texasforever?
Would you draw the line at Republican Hillary Clinton for President in 2008? Just think of all the liberals who would abandon the Democratic Party. She would easily win against ANY Democratic candidate.
Imagine if every Democrat in Congress switched parties tommorrow, and joined the Republicans, ready to work with President Bush. Let's Roll!! Finally, Republicans would have complete control over the agenda! NOW we can cut back the size of government, and give everyone tax breaks, and stop corruption in government!
What scares me is that you probably think that either scenario would be good for the country.
Another oxymoron
Because they are proven liars. That's why. If the liberals legalized dope there would be a libertarian landslide within the liberal ranks.
Oh, they say a lot of things. They did a great job getting liberal Democrats Cantwell and Reid elected to the Senate, though.
