Thanks Jaded, I appreciate that. I don't know if you saw what was written to small_l_libertarian, but it was a serious accusation and it should have never been posted on this thread.

As far as other searchers reactions to Damon...some people can get spooked over any little thing--especially if they were on the side that thought damon did it or heard he might have. I'm sure you already knew that. I don't know where you heard it...or the #'s of people you are talking about...but I would ask the people who "knew" him over a person who was helping in the search.

The little league parents, parents of his friends kids, co-workers..and the rest of the folks who know him on a personal level..would be a better source IMHO.

ALso, I would have to ask...was damon concerned that the perp was amongst the searchers? If so, I bet that could have made him freakout and look spooky to people who met him. Don't you think everyone was a suspect to him for at least a little while? Think about it....his daughter is still missing and strangers were helping the search party. Anyone of them could have been the perp or the perps assistant. Did he wonder? Do engineers have analytical minds who "over" think things?
