I actually do have a scenario in my mind. Here goes: Westerfield, by his own admission, was drunk. The prosecution touched on him having a drinking problem. (I think the Prosecution wanted to stay away from this if they could to avoid later penalty problems). I know something about alcoholics. I am a recovering one. Westerfield had been scorned at the bar by these women. He was still reeling by Susan, who had broken up with him earlier (Apparently. it had something to do with his drinking). He had this child sex fantasy thing. Up until that moment, it was just a fantasy. I think DW was in a blackout or semi-blackout or just blindly drunk. He wondered over to the VD home thinking he could see something or be invited to what he believed was going to be an orgy. When you are that drunk, believe me, even the most outrageous thing seems reasonable to you. I think somehow Danielle was awoken and wondered downstairs and when not seeing anyone around, wondered outside through the open door. I think it was a snap decision for Westerfield, a crime of opportunity, unplanned. He saw her, he grabbed her and the rest is history.

From your posts this morning.... don't think you've quite made it there yet.

When he grabbed her....where did he take her?
Not clear on how the multi colored fibers found on her body and the red fibers found under her nails, were not found in the SUV, his house or the MH?
How did he keep her hair from being anywhere in the MH but the sink drain trap, along with other blonde hairs, not hers?

Going on Dry Drunks are the pits, huh?
You should get counseling and learn how to get through them so that you don't continue to exhibit the same behaviors you did when you were drinking.
And perhaps you need to go to anger management class, because it seems to be apparent that you have a lot of anger issues that you haven't dealt with.
One observation I've made in life is this ... when I see people vandalize property, I breathe a sigh of relief. It means a PERSON has been saved from their violence for the time being. Could it be that I could be breathing a similar sigh of relief about you? That you vent your anger here, thus saving some REAL person in your life from your venom? Just wondering.
Another observation I've made is that when people have no facts or evidence to back up their view points, those people resort to name calling and ridiculous charges. I've also noticed that alcoholics often include references to sexual practices in those ridiculous charges - sexual practices they accuse others of are often what they themselves are doing (or wish they were doing).
Oh, one more thing. You might consider self-esteem classes, too. You may think you're inflating your ego and exerting dominance on these threads, but all you are doing is exposing your small mind and small ways.
If you will take my comments above as proper advice and not as a flame, you will be better off in this life. Otherwise, you will continue on the same downslide that your addictive personality has sent you.
If you pray about it, it'll help. Good luck.

I also agree that it could have been Westerfield if Danielle was outside. That is not the point. The prosecution and the van Dams insist that Danielle was taken from her bed. How did he do it?
Also, there is no proof that Westerfield is an alcoholic. There's a difference between drinking too much and being an alcoholic. There was also no testimony or proof offered that he was in a blackout of any kind. He says he didn't remember driving home that night, but I don't remember driving home yesterday and I don't even drink!
