Interestingly enough, it is around 7-8 days after birth that a newborn's level of blood coagulant peaks. I can't remember where I picked up this factoid, but I remember it as reputable, so it stuck with me. If any one has any more to this, true or false, please by all means, post. I see circumcision as a matter left to parents, best done while the infant has no memory of the pain. People pierce their daughters ears at infant age, to avoid having the baby play with it, and for the same forgetting of pain at that young age. People should mind their own damn business.

That's male circumcision. To equate this practice and what is described as happening in the ME and Africa to women as one and the same is intellectually lazy and dishonest, zoyd.
