She is the loudest, most aggressive pro-Israel voice in Donald Trump's orbit.
So when Laura Loomer leaned in close to the President two months ago and warned him that the American public was giving up on the Jewish State, his two-word reply landed like a thunderclap, carrying an ominous message for Benjamin Netanyahu.
'You're probably going to be the last pro-Israel President we ever have,' Loomer recounted telling Trump, in an interview with the New York Times.
Trump, she says, replied: 'You're right.'
The White House pointedly did not deny the exchange. Spokeswoman Anna Kelly instead offered a boilerplate response that Israel 'has always been a great ally to the United States' and that its military was an 'incredible partner' in Iran.
Even Loomer, the far-right firebrand who has made it her mission to purge MAGA of anyone who wavers on Israel, concedes there has been a marked shift in public opinion, notably among Republicans.
She went so far as to suggest Israel should accept the elimination of US military aid, currently a $38 billion ten-year package set to expire in 2028.
'I don't foresee the GOP being as explicitly pro-Israel anymore,' Loomer told the Times. 'Whether the criticism is legitimate or not, or whether it's foreign-funded or not, it's there. And perception is reality.'
Chief among her targets is former Fox News host Tucker Carlson, who disavowed Trump over the war and last month apologized to his listeners for endorsing the President.
Facing skeptical questions from MAGA-aligned college students about US support for Israel, JD Vance recently suggested his support for Jerusalem is not unequivocal.
'Israel, sometimes they have similar interests to the United States, and we’re going to work with them in that case. Sometimes, they don’t have similar interests,' he said at the University of Mississippi

I never once said a word about Laura Loomer (who I agree is a bit of a nut herself). I only commented on your strange obsession with ridiculing people’s faith.
No problem.
However concerning the 10 Commandments as concerning the Rights of United States Citizens there is a direct conflict…
The First Amendment’s separation of church and state allows for religious freedom and the absence of a state religion, which directly contradicts the first three commandments that mandate exclusive worship.
C’mon now, you know it wasn’t that. You instantly went beyond any reasonable debate about our role as it pertains to Israel and jumped straight to ridiculing the religious faith of anyone who mentioned the Bible. That’s an indication that YOU have a problem, not them. You obviously have an obsession for whatever reason that immediately jumps to the surface any time someone even lightly touches on God or the Bible.
Israel was certainly America’s best ally in the war against Iran.
Islam is an imperialist and evil religion intent on taking over the world. It demands complete power over infidels and women.
Communism saw the US as an impediment. Islam sees the US as an impediment. The smarter conservatives knew we should be at war with communism (as they were with us). The smarter conservatives know that we should be at war with Islam (as it is with us). Israel is out best ally.
The earliest European scientists were Christian. Copernicus, for one, wanted to understand the glory of God’s creation. The Greek philosophers emphasized reason. I think they polytheism muddled the path to science. Monotheism provided one law giver who gave both natural and moral laws (everyone, everywhere, through all time). Christians added Greek reason to the Judeo-Christian foundation they already had and science commenced in earnest.
“The First Amendment’s separation of church and state allows for religious freedom and the absence of a state religion, which directly contradicts the first three commandments that mandate exclusive worship.”
Interesting.
I take the First Amendment as being applicable to the national Government only.
The first three Commandments are Commandments from God to individuals.
John Adams:
“Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.”
Perhaps some theocracy would want the state to impose the first three commandments upon the populous. However, I don’t think it would be right for Christians to do so. Jesus Christ: Render to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s, and to God the things that are God’s.
In Christianity, there is a distinction between God and the State. Different rules apply to each.
many of the first states had either official religions or a religious test to hold office and in some cases vote. I think most had been phased out by the mid 19th century, but don't think the Supreme Court dealt with the issue till the 1940s.
I understand why you would say that, but I'm really not. I do not, under any circumstances give Carte Blanche to privileged Americans of Jewish ancestry who act badly now. They are part of the human race, the human fraternity or sisterhood, and have a moral obligation to act with compassion, spirituality, and honor, as expected from all of us. We aren't talking about special privilege. We are talking about attacks on Jews just because they are Jewish, and rising indiscriminate hatred for Jews from too many places in our society and in the world. It's uncivilized, immoral, and entirely unacceptable.
One thing we're getting is intelligence, which doesn't come cheap.
