I started going giving blood again a few years ago when my friends grandson needed blood after several surgeries. We had a huge blood drive. Now they won’t stop calling me. I give every two months. Also not vaccinated. They do ask you that question before you give. Interesting

Donating blood too often can cause an iron deficiency. If your blood ferritin is less than 70 ng/ml, you have an iron deficiency. Also, if you are a man with iron deficiency, your beard might grow more slowly. It’s good to have blood ferritin between 70 ng/ml and 100 ng/ml.

I give close to every two months... travel sometimes gets in the way. Regardless, I don’t recall that question being asked over the last year.
