That is incorrect. Each unit of blood is from an individual donor, period. If we had a "bad bag" it could easily be traced to an individual donor. If the "bad bag" was mixed with other donors we would not know which donor was a bad donor. When I say bad donor, I mean one with an diagnosed disease.
