Google MUST get permission for every roadside home or person videoed in their stream.I'm curious; when did that start? Certainly nobody ever asked my permission to show my house in Google Earth's street view (taken in June of 2022).

I'm curious; when did that start? Certainly nobody ever asked my permission to show my house in Google Earth's street view (taken in June of 2022). My understanding is if you don't want your house to show, you let google know and they will blur it out.

Try looking up the road (public road) that cuts through oprah winfrey’s hawaiian acreage. She has the road blocked off— wonder how about that too. Can’t find a google stream on that road— and it’s public.
When they started the street view- people in the know made sure they didn’t get their entrance even. Don’t know when that was.
