1. Record-breaking campaign: over a thousand events held in support of Ukraine in 69 countries on 24 February

On 24 February, Ukrainian communities and diaspora organizations in 69 countries held 1,023 events in support of Ukraine.

Events took place in 746 cities in 69 countries on every continent of the world, including Antarctica.
Participants in the record-breaking global campaign registered their events on an interactive map created jointly by the Ukrainian World Congress (UWC) and Ukrainska Pravda.
The countries where the largest number of events took place were Germany, the United States, France, the United Kingdom and Canada.
In Prague, a large-scale rally in support of Ukraine was opened by Czech President Petr Pavel, and in Brussels, European Commissioner for Justice Didier Reynders joined the mass demonstration.
Members of the 28th Ukrainian Antarctic expedition recorded a video message from Antarctica.

n 24 February, in addition to European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, the prime ministers of Italy, Canada and Belgium arrived in Kyiv to demonstrate solidarity with Ukraine on the second anniversary of Russia’s full-scale invasion.
Later on Saturday, Meloni plans to hold a video conference of the G7 leaders, where Italy currently holds the presidency, from Kyiv, and that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy will be invited to the meeting.
President Zelenskiy said today 31,000 Ukrainian soldiers have been killed since Russia’s full-scale invasion two years ago, giving the first official figure for more than a year.
Zelenskiy told a news conference in Kyiv that he would not disclose the number of wounded because it would help Russian military planning.
“31,000 Ukrainian troops have been killed in this war. Not 300,000, not 150,000 ... Putin is lying there ... But nevertheless, this is a big loss for us.”
