“”Although the accuser did not sustain any physical injuries, she may have suffered trauma similar to someone who’d been raped in real life, police sources told the outlet.””

“The user” did not sustain any physical injuries at all.

“”A senior police investigator told the Mail that the metaverse has become “rife” with online sex crimes and other types of offenses, including virtual thefts, but so far there have been no prosecutions in the UK. “”

There are no prosecutions because there is no real victim, no real attackers and no real crime.

“The alleged victim, under age 16, was wearing a headset when her avatar was attacked by the avatars of several men, allegedly causing her psychological trauma.”

I smell dorsal finned lawyers drooling over a brand new revenue stream.

Okay, this is why this is happening. The only good thing about this ‘virtual rape’ charge succeeding is conservatives could now sue schools for emotional trauma for virtual rape for exposing minors to porn in schools.

Not sure about the UK but in USA there are pedo stings all the time with no “real” victim. But seems odd since the UK police ignore muslim rape gangs.
