MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell has admitted he is unable to pay attorneys representing him and his company, after going broke fighting massive defamation suits over his stolen election claims.
In a court filing on Thursday, Lindell's attorneys said he owes 'millions of dollars' in unpaid legal fees, and sought to drop him as a client in defamation lawsuits brought by Dominion Voting Systems and Smartmatic USA.
The financial fallout from the controversy has been intense for Lindell, after a number of key retail chains severed ties with MyPillow.
In July, Lindell told DailyMail.com that his company has lost a staggering $100 million since Walmart and Bed Bath & Beyond pulled his products over his false claims of election fraud.
The bedding mogul said on Thursday that he is 'out of money' and praised his lawyers as courageous, saying he regretted he was unable to pay their fees.
'We've lost everything, every dime,' Lindell told NBC News. 'All of it is gone.'
Lindell has not made any payments on his legal bills since July, his lawyers at Parker Daniels Kibort and Lewin & Lewin told federal judges in Minnesota and Washington, DC overseeing the separate defamation cases.
Parker Daniels Kibort co-founder Andrew Parker said in a court filing that forcing his firm to continue representing Lindell without payment 'could threaten the very existence of the firm.'
Parker did not immediately respond to a request for comment from DailyMail.com on Thursday night.
Lindell told Reuters he was the victim of 'lawfare' and that he is unable to borrow money to fund his defense. He said he is looking for new counsel.
'We'll find someone, that's the way it is,' Lindell said.
Dominion is seeking $1.3 billion in damages from Lindell and his pillow company in the Washington case.

While I have another pillow that I prefer over Mike Lindell's pillows, his sheets are *amazing* in every respect. I've got a large, old house, and every sheet in the house is from My Pillow simply because I want my guests to sleep in total comfort.
I cannot recommend his sheets highly enough. I'll be ordering more myself.

Some of what he said was indeed false and was proven to be so. He may have believed it, so he isn’t lying, but it was incorrect. He put up an offer to pay anyone $5 million to prove his stats were false - which a statistics expert gleefully did so easily, and was forced to pay up after submitting to binding arbitration over the matter.

I’m not a lawyer, but I understand that in civil cases anybody can sue anybody for any reason.

This is a good man. I’ve been praying for him for a long time. He spent a lot of money trying to prove the steal and it got away from him. He has a great faith in God and no matter what is taken from him he will end up OK. The thing is his commercials have paid for a lot of good TV and those funds will be missed.

Yes, the sheets are very good, just be aware there can be some differences in the finish. One set felt rough but we had no difficulty obtaining a replacement. I think we have four sets.
It is really sad that he would make those comments, because it’s not Trump that they seek to destroy, it’s our way of life.
For anyone to suggest Trump is the cause, or Lindell is the cause, or Guiliani is the cause or (any American that values life) is the cause, really misses their objective.

I love his pillows. I have a bad neck from an accident and had tried many pillows but all hurt my neck until I bought My Pillows. Now I can sleep well and don’t wake up in pain. I thought the pillows were a gimmick until a neighbor told me to try them.
They are great!
