“Elizabeth” Dell reminds me of the story that the ballad by KISS named “Beth” was originally supposed to be “Beck” (after a girl named “Becky”). But Gene Simmons was right in figuring that the fans didn’t want to hear a man sing a song to a “Beck” without taking time to figure out if it was a woman.
