Yeah, I can understand that!
I was once on a (fourth) date with a really beautiful girl. A 19-year-old college student, talented musician (piano, guitar, singing). To be honest, we had known each other for a whole semester and, by this date, had already progressed beyond the "hand-holding" stage, and there was a realistic possibility that we would be "sealing the deal" that evening.
Anyway: When the time came for her to the pay bill for our restaurant meal (I was earning only $4/hr correcting Physics homework for a few hours per week, while she had a steady part-time job at the campus bookstore, so it was fair for her to pay for everything), she tipped the wait-staff only 10%.
Such a cheapskate! So I dumped her!
Was I being any less petty than this woman?
Regards,
Such a cheapskate! So I dumped her!
You made a woman pay for your food and you’re calling her a cheapskate? I’ve never in my life asked a date to pay for anything and I’d throw myself off of a bridge before I’d ask one to.
