The Ministry of Truth?
I remember when nations didn’t have government oversight to police speech so the public wouldn’t engage in ‘wrong thoughts’.
By whatever name the Ministry of Truth is just whack-a-mole.
It would be accurate if they simply called it that.

I’m ethnically half-Irish, and was raised Catholic. Irish are clannish, and strongly orthodox. They love to talk and argue, but they do not like having their assumptions challenged. Land of poets and saints, not philosophers or scientific pioneers.
