Almost like the scene in “Camp of the Saints”, where a hippie clown goes into a elderly man’s castle-home. He tells the man his time is up and France is being repopulated, as thousands of Indian boat people are coming up from the beach towards his house. While the hippie lecturing he pulls his shotgun off the wall, tells the hippie it’s to kill him - and kills him.
A lovely scene in both cases.
Yes, that is an awesome scene! Another excellent one is when that scumbag “journalist,” (I think his name was Dion or Dio), gets wrecked, along with his scumbag wife, by his beloved West-loathing “revolutionaries, the very ones he worked so hard to create. Great book!
