“I hear Tubas! Big, blustery Biergarten Tubas, in that Vicente Fernandes song. How did that happen?”
The tuba, accordion, and polka sound in Mexican music has to do with the Europeans that settled near the Mexican border. Same with Acadians mixing with Louisianans. Cultures mix.
