The left is hell-bent on drug legalization. It started with cannabis, but it will not end with cannabis. I know that they have libertarian allies on the right (including some here on FR), but as I walk down the street in San Francisco, passing through clouds of pot smoke at all hours of the day and stepping past the fetanyl addicts passed out on the sidewalk, I question whether a society of recreational drug enthusiasts is the sort of society that’s sustainable. IMO, there’s a reason that Soros et al. push drug legalization. Who’s likely to resist all of the crap? Someone who’s stoned and stupid and constantly chasing the next high? I don’t think so.

Actually, legalization might not be a bad thing considering the Left's thinking that there is no objective right or wrong.
Those on the Left will rightly conclude that their "fluid reality" stuff is pure crap when they start dropping dead en masse from OD's on legal drugs.

Every thing the left does is for incrementalism. The current goal is never the end goal. When gay marriage was legalized it was not to let people who love each other to commit to one another. The goal was to normalize pedophilia and adoption for pedophiles. It had zero to do with gays. I am unsure the exact goal of drug legalization, but I suspect it has to do with creating an entire generation of burnouts incapable of taking care of themselves who will vote for anybody who will keep the fix coming and who will have to surrender their children to the state
